Achieving these goals requires strong collaboration across sectors, including the private sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UN Global Compact is the world\u2019s largest corporate sustainability initiative, supporting companies to align their strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights,&nbsp;labour, environment, and anti-corruption, while advancing the SDGs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UN Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT) plays a key role in this effort by bringing together businesses, government, and civil society to drive sustainable business practices in Thailand. Through our&nbsp;programmes&nbsp;and partnerships, we support companies in embedding sustainability into their strategies and contributing to national and global impact.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D<\/strong><strong>UTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Role Summary<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<br>The&nbsp;Programme&nbsp;Intern (Environment) will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of GCNT\u2019s environment-related&nbsp;programmes&nbsp;and partnerships, including climate, circularity, nature, sustainable tourism, and related member engagement activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The intern will gain practical exposure to corporate sustainability work, multi-stakeholder coordination, research and content development, and&nbsp;programme&nbsp;operations in a dynamic professional environment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support the operational coordination and implementation of environment-related trainings, webinars, workshops, events, and projects under GCNT\u2019s Environment portfolio, including&nbsp;activities related to climate action, circular economy, climate finance, biodiversity, and business sustainability.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist&nbsp;in conducting background research and data gathering, and support the preparation of policy-related materials, briefing notes, concept notes, proposal drafts, presentations, and other&nbsp;programme&nbsp;documents in Thai and English to inform&nbsp;programme&nbsp;development and stakeholder engagement.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support communication and day-to-day coordination with members, partners, speakers, consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders to&nbsp;facilitate&nbsp;programme&nbsp;implementation, event preparation, and follow-up.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist&nbsp;in preparing meeting minutes, follow-up summaries, contact lists, internal trackers, and organized files and documentation to support smooth project management and internal coordination.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help monitor workplans and activity timelines, track registrations and participant lists, compile&nbsp;feedback&nbsp;and post-activity information, and support the preparation of activity summaries and simple reports.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support flagship sustainability events and&nbsp;programme-related outreach by&nbsp;assisting&nbsp;with event materials, presentation decks, visibility materials, and other communications content, where relevant.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist&nbsp;with administrative and operational tasks related to&nbsp;programme&nbsp;and policy support, including&nbsp;logistics&nbsp;coordination, document consolidation, desk research, and other assignments that contribute to the development and implementation of GCNT\u2019s environment-related initiatives.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>COMPETENCIES&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Educational and Experience Requirement&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Education:\u00a0A senior or newly graduated student from the\u00a0first-level university\u00a0degree,\u00a0preferably\u00a0environmental studies,\u00a0sustainability\u00a0management\u00a0or related fields\u00a0<br><br><strong>Experience:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Demonstrated interest in environmental sustainability, climate action, circular economy, biodiversity, sustainable tourism, or related topics through coursework, extracurricular activities, internships, or project work.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience in research, report writing, presentation preparation, or event\/project coordination is an advantage.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to work with information in a structured manner, with strong attention to detail and willingness to support both content and operational tasks.\u00a0<br><br><strong>Language skills:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proficiency&nbsp;in Thai and English is&nbsp;required.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing\u00a0<br><br><strong>Computer\/ Technical skills:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Essential communications and analytics tools:&nbsp;
