POSTING TITLE: Corporate Relationship Intern 

CONTRACT DURATION: 3-6 months contract 

WORKING ARRANGEMENT: Hybrid (5 days/week, on-site + remote) 

LOCATION: UN Global Compact Network Thailand, True Digital Park, Sukhumvit 101, Bangkok 

START DATE: Flexible (from May 2026 onward) 

ELIGIBILITY: Open to Thai nationals only (due to Thai language requirements)

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and promote peace and prosperity by 2030. Achieving these goals requires strong collaboration across sectors, including the private sector. 

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, supporting companies to align their strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, while advancing the SDGs. 

UN Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT) plays a key role in this effort by bringing together businesses, government, and civil society to drive sustainable business practices in Thailand. Through our programmes and partnerships, we support companies in embedding sustainability into their strategies and contributing to national and global impact. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Support the Corporate Relationship team in managing member engagement, onboarding, and administrative processes. The role provides hands-on exposure to stakeholder management, membership operations, and sustainability-driven business engagement  

Key responsibilities  

1. Annual Contribution Management 

  • Support annual contribution processes for member companies 
  • Clean and maintain membership database (e.g. remove delisted or inactive companies) 
  • Track payment status and follow up on outstanding contributions 
  • Coordinate with finance on billing accuracy and records 
  • Process or adjust vendor forms and required documentation for member companies  

2. Member Onboarding Session Coordination  

  • Coordinate onboarding sessions for new members 
  • Support the membership approval process (tracking status, follow-ups, documentation) 
  • Prepare onboarding process, materials and schedules 

3. Networking Session Coordination (May 2026)   

  • Coordinate networking activities and member engagement events 
  • Support planning and logistics for networking sessions 
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution 

4. Participant & Member Engagement 

  • Respond to members’ inquiries and requests in a timely manner 
  • Send welcome emails and key communications to new members 
  • Maintain ongoing communication to support member satisfaction and retention 
  • Assist members in benefits, activities, and participation opportunities 

COMPETENCIES  

  • Educational and Experience Requirement 
  • Education: A senior or newly graduated student from the first-level university degree, preferably business administration, marketing, international business, sustainability management or related fields 

    Experience:  
  • Demonstrated interest in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, or administrative support (through internships, academic projects, or extracurricular activities) 
  • Basic understanding or interest in sustainability, business networks, or corporate environments is an advantage 
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to support multiple tasks in a team environment 

    Language skills:  
  • Proficiency in Thai and English is required.  
  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing 

    Computer/ Technical skills:  
  • Essential communications and analytics tools:  Excel, PowerPoint, Word 
  • Basic knowledge of Canva or similar tools is a plus 
  • Willingness to learn new tools such as CRM systems or project management platforms
