GCNT and Thai business leaders joined Forward Faster Now | APAC 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, bringing Thailand’s perspectives and business practices to the regional sustainability dialogue.

Held on 11–12 August 2026, Forward Faster Now | APAC 2026 convened 14 UN Global Compact Country Networks and business leaders from across Asia-Pacific to exchange experiences, address emerging sustainability challenges, and strengthen collective action towards the Sustainable Development Goals.

Throughout the two-day programme, UN Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT) and our member companies contributed to discussions across key areas of responsible business:

Netithorn Praditsarn, Secretary-General of GCNT, joined the High-Level CSO Panel, contributing Thailand’s perspective to the regional dialogue among sustainability leaders. He also spoke in “From Policy to Practice: Making Anti-Corruption Work,” exchanging perspectives on translating anti-corruption commitments into effective governance and business practices.

Prida Tiasuwan, Founder and Chairman, Pranda Group, and Piang-or Wacharaprapapong, Assistant Vice President, Charoen Pokphand Group Co.,Ltd., shared their experiences in “From Commitment to Enforcement: How Businesses in Asia Are Preparing for Mandatory Human Rights Due Diligence.” The session was moderated by Wipavee Anantasak, Chief of Operations & Programme at GCNT, and brought together business perspectives from Thailand and Nepal on navigating evolving human rights, regulatory, and responsible supply chain expectations.

Ekaraj Niroj, Chief Marketing and Customer Officer, SCGP participated in “UPSHIFT: From Waste to Value – Operationalizing Circularity in Practice,” contributing practical business perspectives on advancing circularity and creating value through more sustainable use of resources.

GCNT’s participation in Forward Faster Now | APAC 2026 reflects our commitment to ensuring that Thai businesses are connected to the sustainability conversations shaping the region with opportunities to share practical experiences from Thailand, learn from peers across Asia-Pacific, and contribute to solutions that can accelerate responsible business action.

As sustainability challenges increasingly extend across borders and supply chains, collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region will be critical to accelerating meaningful progress towards 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
