World’s first Net-Zero Standard
On 28 October, in partnership with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) we launched the world’s first Net-Zero Standard, attended by over 4000 live participants. The Standard is the result of an over two year multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the first science-based framework for companies to set net-zero targets. It will allow independent verification of companies’ long term emissions reduction targets and hold them accountable on their progress for an equitable, net-zero future.
CEO Study "Climate Leadership in the Eleventh Hour"
On 1 November, in partnership with Accenture, we will launch the CEO Study which is the world’s largest program of CEO research on sustainability. The CEO Study represents more than a decade of research on sustainable business. In this Special Edition, more than 1,200 CEOs across 130 countries and 21 industries deliver their authentic perspectives on the private sector’s contribution to climate action.
Roadmap to Integrate Offshore Renewable Energy into a Climate-Smart Marine Spatial Plan
On 5 November, launch of the fourth deliverable from the UN Global Compact Blue Road to COP26 series: Blueprint for a Climate-Smart Ocean to Meet 1.5°C, Charting a 1.5°C Trajectory for Maritime Transport brief and Seaweed as a Nature-Based Climate Solution Vision Statement.
Partnership between the Water Resilience Coalition and UNICEF
On 8 November, announcement of new partnership. Partners and member companies will also launch a call to action for others to sign the pledge to the Water Resilient Coalition.
Business Ambition for 1.5°C announcement and report
On 10 November, with the SBTi, we will reveal the number of companies committed to Business Ambition for 1.5°C. The announcement is paired with a “Status Report: Business Ambition for 1.5°C Campaign - Responding to the Climate Crisis”, showcasing the success of Business Ambition for 1.5°C from its launch at the UN Climate Action Summit 2019 to date.

On 10 November, announcing the new engagement bringing together companies to unlock green job potential and ensure that the transition to a zero-carbon economy leaves no one behind.
Water Resilience Coalition's 2030 Roadmap
On 11 November, launching the Water Resilience Coalition Roadmap laying out the strategies and actions that will enable the achievement of the Coalition's long term ambitions. Member companies commit to implement net positive water impact, to enable sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene access for 100 million people as well as to accelerate collective action to achieve better, more resilient water outcomes in 100 basins that support 3 billion people.
